I'm not able to read date dttype as date and when I'm trying to convert it into date format it is showing unparseable date error.

I am able to read this as Date type by doing the following (assuming this is
a CSV file):

1. In the Open File dialog box, check "Invoke Options Dialog."  After
Opening the file, a dialog box appears.
2. In it, enter the index of the Date field (in your example, 1) in
dateAttributes
3. Specify format in the dateFormat field, in your case yyyy-MM-dd
4. Click OK
