Apriori method in classification

andria lan
Hi all,

Kindly, in Weka, what's the name of the classification algorithm that applies the "Apriori" technique internally?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Apriori method in classification

Take a look at

JCBA is one option. You can use it with two possible class association rule miners, one of them being Apriori:

Apart from the Javadoc, the only documentation available are the papers cited in the Javadoc and Mutter et al.'s paper on "Using Classification to Evaluate the Output of Confidence-Based Association Rule Mining".

Cheers,
Eibe

Hi Eibe.

Thanks for the prompt reply.

- In the link you highlighted "weka.sourceforge.net/doc.packages/classAssociationRules/", did you mean that the following listed algorithms are all applying the association rules-based technique?

- Also, how to download the "CarClassifier", as this is not possible form package manager?

- Same things goes with "CARuleMiner"--how to download it? It is also not possible to do that form the package manager.

Thanks once again.
